We’re absolutely mad about anything cycle related! There’s a huge range of fun things to do on a bike – so what interests you?
An afternoon with the kids? The thrill of the single track? Meandering through the countryside with the tent in your panniers? To help you get started, below is some helpful information.
Adventure Racing
From the Hells Bells 24 Hour Race – XPD 10 day race. We’ve all experienced adventure racing – and loved it! While it’s generally up to the individuals to pick an event, form a team and get to training we are always keen to get involved with other like-minded adventure racers.
If you’re looking for some extra team members we’re in a great position to put the word out for you. We can also help with information on how to prepare for a race, equipment you might need or what to expect. Come in and chat to us about your epic adventure plans!
Canoe Club
Did you know that every Sunday between 8am and 11am the Mackay Canoe Club is open for anyone to
head along and have a go at paddling in the Balnagowan Weir? For just $2 each you, your friends and/or family can hire boats and even get some experts to teach you a few things about paddling. Heaps of fun and a great way to spend your morning! The Canoe Club is based on the river front at the corner of Mackay-Eungella and Pleystowe Connection Roads.
Cycling with Kids
Cycling with kids can be a lot of fun – and it doesn’t have to slow you down.
We’ve got a range of options available from the trailers to child seats, tagalong bikes (single and tandem) to kids bikes (first bike through to mountain bikes).
We’ve tried each option and know the pros and cons of each style. Come in and find out exactly what a Tag-A-Long is and talk to us about how you and your family can enjoy time out on the bikes.
Cycle Touring
Panniers or B.O.B trailer? Two nights or two months? Planning a tour, come in and talk to us.
We can tell you about water transportation, tools you’ll need, the advantages are of towing a B.O.B trailer and how you survive with only one pair of underwear.

if you’re really keen look into the Ironman
